ROMASCONE

Rose, Fruity, Aromatic

Aromatic and damascone-like.

It has herbaceous, rosemary and thuyonic aspects, with a damascone fruity undertone.

Becomes more aromatic when the dosage is increased; more fruity when very diluted.

It can be used like any other damascone.

Effective at very low levels. Can be used either in aromatic compositions to enhance the aromatic herbal notes or in other fragrances to give a fruity berry aspect.

ROMASCONE is the Cyclo-Geraniate corresponding to GAMMA DAMASCONE.

Chemical synthesis corresponds to the construction of complex chemical compounds from simpler ones.
Our R&D follows the principles of Green chemistry whenever possible.

dsm-firmenich is recognized for its rose ketones which are now under the scope of IFRA limitation due to sensitizing effects.
Corresponding esters are not sensitizing and dsm-firmenich has developped many patented synthetics in this range. (Cyclo-geraniates)
